Sudden death investigation, Labrador

The Ethical Standards Command is investigating the death of a man at Labrador this evening.
Initial information indicates when police arrived at the Middle Street residence shortly after 9pm, the man, aged in his 30’s retreated to another part of the unit and suffered self inflicted wounds.
Despite medical treatment from Queensland Ambulance Service officers he later died.
The Coroner and the Crime and Misconduct Commission have been informed.
